_{This was taken for round two of LJs Next Top Model [link] along the theme of 'stars of the silver screen'. I didn't do as well as I would of liked because I didn't have the time or the resources to plan anything, but I like this picture. The title, "Englands's Sweetheart", is in reference to the Courtney Love album "America's Sweetheart". I wasn't intentionally trying to look like Courtney, but someone mentioned in the comments that I did. I think they were trying to use it as an insult, but I'm not insulted in the slightest. "I don't ge the zinzi appeal...that set looks like a 14 year old courtney love" was the exact comment, but at the end of the day I'm not your average pretty girl, I have a strong personality and that's going to show through in my photos. You either love it or hate it. My set may not of been traditional Hollywood Glamour but at least I didn't copy the inspiration shots provided - I done my own thing, and in that sense I'm happy with the photos I produced. They may not be what other people wanted to see but I didn't go into this to be anything other than myself. "You look like Cristina Aguilara, and i dont think its a good thing. It just didnt fit the style, it felt like you broke away from the topic trying to do your own thing" was another comment I received. Don't get me wrong, I am greatful for everyone being so honest & although I didn't intentionally try to 'break away from the topic & do my own thing' I add my own twist on everything. I think, honestly, that many people hated me in this competion from the start because I don't fit their idealistic views on what beauty is (and OMG everyone only voted for me because I have pink hair.. pah) but that's fine by me. If I get voted out this round I'll know that I did the best that I could and I just wasn't what other people wanted to see. Fine by me. I'll still do the photosets for each challenge, they just won't be posted as part of the competition. No big loss. You either love me or you hate me; that's life.}
